On this page you will find a selection of baskets that I make regularly. I work mostly with 'brown' or unstripped willow (ie with the bark on, for colour and texture); sometimes with white (stripped willow) or occasionally with buff (boiled and stripped willow). Some of my baskets may be available from stock depending on the time of year. Please contact me for availability or for your requirements if not shown here. Visitors are welcome to my workshop by arrangement, or baskets can be sent by post.
All prices are ex workshop and do not include p & p.

Shopping Trolley |
Becoming increasingly popular in Shropshire, there are quite a few of these on the streets of Shrewsbury. Rumoured to go at 25mph if you run fast enough! Invaluable for visiting your local shops or farmers market and can also be used in the garden or for carrying a small dog or logs.

|
Step-Top Waste Bin |
As someone joked, this is the one where the top border doesn't’t join up properly! Especially for those who appreciate something a little quirky. Waste bins are always useful, and this one could double up as a loo roll holder or plant container.

Stick Basket |
Great for keeping walking sticks or brollies tidy..sits neatly in the corner without taking up much room. Also good for keeping loo rolls, or looks fantastic with an arrangement of tall grasses.

Garden Trug |
One of my most popular items, essential for the enthusiastic gardener for flowers or collecting fruit and vegetables. Makes a lovely present with a pair of gardening gloves or secateurs (not supplied), or just by itself. Also looks fantastic sitting on a shelf with a couple of house plants trailing down out of the basket.

Oval Shopper |
My favourite basket to make and a regular seller. I have an old one of these in the porch at home which is used for shopping, collecting vegetables from the garden or sometimes a few logs. Oh, and sandwiches and a flask if we go for a walk. Truly a versatile basket!

Rectangular Garden Baskets
|
These are intended, as the name suggests, for use in the garden, collecting flowers, fruit or vegetables. However, the smallest one is popular as a fruit basket, the medium size is great for bread or French sticks, and the largest one will carry logs or keep your papers and magazines tidy. All three are also excellent ‘display’ baskets.
